DeKalb can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Wednesday. They blew past the Prairie Heights Panthers 10-1. The high-scoring effort was just what DeKalb needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.

 In other batting news,  Aaden Lytle and  Brady Vince did most of the damage at the plate:  Lytle  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Vince  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  AJ Ross was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 On Prairie Heights' side,  Matt Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Prairie Heights  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. This was only their 13th loss (out of 16 games) when  they post five or more  strikeouts.
 DeKalb's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Prairie Heights, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with that  loss, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 DeKalb will take on Fort Wayne Snider at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Prairie Heights, they will head out on the road to  take on  Fremont at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Fremont will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Prairie Heights surely won't give up without a fight.
