This season hasn't been kind to the Edison Private Eagles, who are still winless after their eighth game. They were dealt a 82-43 loss at the hands of Sheridan Hills Christian on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Edison Private in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now lost five in a row.
Sheridan Hills Christian was led to victory by Nick Johns and Elias Feliz. Johns scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Feliz dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johns has scored all season. Micah Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Edison Private's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
Edison Private does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sheridan Hills Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Village Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
