After a string of three wins, the Marbury Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell to Chilton County  64-59. Marbury has struggled against Chilton County recently, as their  match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jamar Brown, who  scored 18 points along with eight  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Brown  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.  DJ Graham was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with nine  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Marbury  were working as a unit and  finished the game with ten  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Marbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chilton County, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marbury on the road again  on Thursday and play against Autaugaville at 7:00  p.m.  on January 25th. Autaugaville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Chilton County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Benjamin Russell at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Benjamin Russell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chilton County in Alabama (Benjamin Russell is ranked 122nd, while Chilton County is ranked 295th).
