Woodsville got themselves on the board against Pittsburg on Friday, but Pittsburg never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Engineers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Ryan Walker and Jacob Putnam were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Walker pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Putnam kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. At the plate, Walker went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Putnam went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Vinnie Cataldo was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

Woodsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got Woodsville back to even at 3-3. As for Pittsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
