They came out on top against Mays by a score of 63-54. That's another feather in the cap for Tri-Cities, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tri-Cities got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssia Bandele out in front who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Paris Shelton, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Tri-Cities is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Mays, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Tri-Cities will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Midtown will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Mays will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 365th, while the Raiders are ranked 146th).
