The Colbert County Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Phillips 75-29 on the road. Considering Colbert County has won six matches by more than 21 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Colbert County to victory were Caitlin Cunningham and Joyden Ricks. Cunningham scored 19 points, while Ricks scored 25 points. The match was Ricks' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Donley, who scored eight points.
Colbert County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Phillips, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Colbert County will be playing at home against Colbert Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Phillips, they will head out on the road to face off against Vina at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
