The Suttons Bay Norsemen won the last time they faced the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Suttons Bay simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grand Traverse Academy 77-20 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Suttons Bay.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Weston Kinney, who scored 2 points along with 8 rebounds.
Suttons Bay's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grand Traverse Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Suttons Bay will be playing at home against Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Traverse Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Michael Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
