Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Shoals Christian Flame, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 53-7 loss at the hands of Lynn. Shoals Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.
It was another big night for Cale Tittle, who threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Logan Madison also helped out as he racked up 105 receiving yards.
Shoals Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Lynn, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Shoals Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lynn will face off against Coosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coosa Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
