Boswell was led to victory by Salena Carrasco and Camille Williams. Carrasco scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Williams dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Carrasco's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Sydney Durrah was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and three steals.
Chisholm Trail bumped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.9 points per game. As for Boswell, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
Chisholm Trail will be home for the holidays to greet Bell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Boswell, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Boswell is ranked fifth).
