There's no place like home for University Lab, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lutcher Bulldogs on Friday as the University Lab Cubs made off with a 12-3 victory. This was a revenge game for the Cubs: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Thursday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.
Phillip Underwood looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
On the hitting side, Jaris Hamilton and James Upton did most of the damage at the plate: Hamilton scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Upton scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
