Bowling Green came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Butler County Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-9 back in March.

Bowling Green pushed their record up to 16-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Butler County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowling Green will venture away from home to challenge Greenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
