Northland Christian was handed a 35-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Alpha Omega Academy on Wednesday. Northland Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over Alpha Omega Academy. The win was just what Northland Christian needed coming off of a 63-28 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, First Baptist Christian came up short against Westbury Christian on Friday and fell 51-42. First Baptist Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Northland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for First Baptist Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Northland Christian lost to First Baptist Christian on the road by a decisive 38-24 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Northland Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
