Softball Recap: Del Valle's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Del Valle's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Westlake Chaparrals an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Cardinals have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Del Valle broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-4-1. As for Westlake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Del Valle will face off against Akins at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Del Valle has lost three straight at home , while Akins has lost five on the road. As for Westlake, they will take on Dripping Springs at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
