LOGAN KODOLITSCH made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
KODOLITSCH wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was JORDIN MURRAY, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
Meanwhile, while Maury put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Menchville. The Commodores blew past the Monarchs 14-0. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by nine runs or more this season.
Landen Hall was incredible, going 2-for-4 with six RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lee Garris, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Maury's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Granby, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Granby has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. However, it's not like Maury struggles in that department as they've averaged .539. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Granby's way against Maury when the teams last played back in May, as Granby made off with an 11-5 win. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Commodores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
