Todd County Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Fort Campbell on Thursday as they made off with a 20-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Todd County Central got a massive performance out of Isabelle Hightower, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Hightower has posted since back in April of 2025. Naomi Gammon was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.
Todd County Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in 11 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Calloway County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Hickman County last Thursday.
Hailee Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Calloway County's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Jamriska, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Todd County Central's record now sits at 14-9. As for Calloway County, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
