Given the Coyotes' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Knights are ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brenan Moore, who posted 11 points. Emerson Kuch was another key player, going 6 for 11 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.
Centennial's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for Lake Havasu, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
