On Thursday, Jefferson didn't have quite enough to beat Allen East and fell 3-2. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-15 in the first set.
Jefferson started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 17-25, 25-16, 25-16, 20-18.

Meanwhile, Wayne Trace made easy work of Antwerp on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Archers: they've now won five in a row.
Wayne Trace never let Antwerp on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12, 25-13.
Wayne Trace's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
