The Snook Bluejays''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Louise at home by a decisive 35-21 margin. Snook was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Louise apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Tayveon Kimble was his usual excellent self, rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Kimble was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
Snook's defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 1-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 13-1 Burton and 9-1 Anderson-Shiro (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 62.6% over those games). As for Louise, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Snook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Louise will be playing at home against Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
