 Wethersfield's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-8. As for Avon, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
 Wethersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avon, they will head out to  challenge Southington  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Southington will roll in looking for their  17th straight  victory, something Avon surely won't give up without a fight.
