After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Executive Education Academy Charter School, the Council Rock North Indians were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They skirted past Frankford 60-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Frankford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Doron Ross. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds. Ross scored a full 35.1% of Frankford's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameren Lane, who scored 6 points along with 11 rebounds.
The victory got Council Rock North back to even at 1-1. As for Frankford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Council Rock North will head out on the road to face off against Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olney at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
