The Poynette Pumas will head out on the road to  take on  the Westfield Area Pioneers at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Poynette is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

 Poynette's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Westfield Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
 Poynette skirted past Westfield Area  18-17 when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Poynette since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
