Coleman is 9-1 against Niagara since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Badgers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Niagara will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Coleman extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on Menominee with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cole Berth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Matt Tedtman was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Miles Lewis was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Niagara played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Wausaukee. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Niagara also let their pitcher toss all six innings played and he was also dialed-in: Remington Buchanan gave up only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Niagara got a massive performance out of Tj Beard, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave Beard a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aj Sweig, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Coleman pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Niagara, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Everything went Coleman's way against Niagara in their previous matchup back in April, as Coleman made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
