Southside fell victim to Emerald and their airtight defense  on Friday. They were  outmatched by the Vikings and fell  55-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Emerald,  with the  win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside will welcome Wren  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four games. As for Emerald, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Fountain Inn  at 7:30  p.m.
