While McLaurin put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Mount Olive. McLaurin was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Mount Olive. Considering the Tigers have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Noah Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Landon Mayo was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Jamari Horton was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

McLaurin's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Mount Olive, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McLaurin beat Mount Olive by a score of 18-13 later that day.
