They came out on top against Tabernacle Christian by a score of 49-41 on Tuesday. This was payback for Scotland Christian Academy, who suffered a 58-55 loss the last time these two teams met.
Layla Nicolosi was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Scotland Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Lily Cartrette, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Scotland Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.38 points. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
