Softball Recap: Milton Has No Trouble Against Pine Forest

Milton got themselves on the board against Pine Forest on Monday, but Pine Forest never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 15-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alexis Hawthorne, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adrienne Yoder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Milton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Milton's record now sits at 13-10. As for Pine Forest, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.
