The Neshoba Central Rockets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season. They really took it to Noxubee County for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-8 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Neshoba Central sure is getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Leading Neshoba Central to victory were Kyli Truss and Erica Lyons. Truss scored 15 points, while Lyons scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of A'tyia Allen, who scored eight points.
Neshoba Central's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Noxubee County, they have fallen quite a ways from their 26-4 record last season and are now at 0-4.
Neshoba Central will head out on the road to face off against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbus will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Neshoba Central is ranked first). As for Noxubee County, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Louisville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
