Meanwhile, Renaissance Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Bristol 44-39. Renaissance Academy has struggled against Bristol recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nico Villa, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ed Breazeale IV, who scored 11 points.
Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Renaissance Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
