Tracy is a perfect 10-0 against West since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Tracy will be playing at home against West at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tracy has four straight wins, West has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Tracy proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 17) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Freedom a 1-0 shutout. The one-run effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Not much got past Elisa Galli, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Freedom off the board. Galli has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tracy's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Fell, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Fell is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, West came up short against Kimball on Thursday and fell 5-2.
Kayla McWhorter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.
At the plate, Malia Morreira was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Bailey Dunn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Tracy pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for West, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tracy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like West struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Tracy's way against West in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Tracy made off with an 18-4 win. Will Tracy repeat their success, or does West has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
