Caddo extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Cale Wigington. The Bruins strolled past the Waurika Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-34 with plenty of help from Wigington, who rushed for 201 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 232 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 119.2 rushing yards per game.
Caddo's leading receiver Jake McKay was Wigington's top target yet again, picking up 132 receiving yards and two scores. McKay's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Caddo's defensive line and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Bayler Black, Dillon Speers, and Noah Bacon, who each picked up one sack apiece.
