The Molalla Indians can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Parkrose by a score of 19-6. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Molalla was the (much) better team in the second half.
Devontae Hillman and Kenji Johnson certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Hillman picked up 82 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Johnson threw for 198 yards and a touchdown. Hillman was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 67 yards.
Molalla's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Parkrose, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Molalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parkrose also has no future games currently scheduled.
