In what's become a running theme this season, the Stockbridge Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Woodland on the road to the tune of 72-34. Given Stockbridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Woodland is ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Stockbridge was led to victory by Carrington Wilson and India Mcintosh. Wilson scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Mcintosh scored 18 points along with six rebounds and six blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcintosh has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayla Fulks, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Stockbridge pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Woodland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
Stockbridge will be playing at home against Mt. Zion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland, they will head out on the road to face off against Luella at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Luella is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
