Baseball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Victorious

The matchup between TEACH Homeschool and Fairfax HomeSchool on Saturday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers put the hurt on the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks with a sharp 14-6 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Beach Breakers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Zach Daniels was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Bianco, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

TEACH Homeschool's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. TEACH Homeschool will venture away from home to take on Cape Henry Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be TEACH Homeschool's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they will take on NOVA HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
