Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patel). They were the clear victor by a 67-42 margin over the Life Christian Academy Lions on Thursday. White continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophia Rice, who had 11 points and six boards.
Patel's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for Life Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Patel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Life Christian Academy, they and Tohopekaliga will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
