The American Heritage Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Monsignor Pace Spartans at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. American Heritage will be strutting in after a win while Monsignor Pace will be coming in after a loss.
Back in December of 2023, American Heritage took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 60-13 win over Doctors Charter. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win American Heritage has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Monsignor Pace pushed their score all the way to 56 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 70-56 to Palmer Trinity. Monsignor Pace's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Jabari Dukes, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Moshe, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
American Heritage's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Monsignor Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
American Heritage couldn't quite finish off Monsignor Pace in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 and fell 40-38. Can American Heritage avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
