Despite the loss, Cape Hatteras still got an impressive performance from Griffin Couch, who scored nine points along with two blocks. That was a full 50% of Cape Hatteras' points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win (which was Bear Grass Charter's third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.3 points. As for Cape Hatteras, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia and the Hurricanes are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
