Cotulla has gone 9-1 against Dilley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Cotulla will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Cotulla came out on top against Crystal City on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Cowboys blew past the Javelinas 14-2. Considering the Cowboys have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Christlyn Munoz made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). Munoz was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Sareen Ramirez was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackeline Alba, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Cotulla hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Dilley hadn't done well against Natalia recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wolves won by a run and slipped past the Mustangs 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since February 13, 2025.
The team relied heavily on Madelyne Proctor, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Danica Cano was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Cotulla's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Dilley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Cotulla has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Dilley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Cotulla's way against Dilley in their previous matchup on March 9th, as Cotulla made off with a 12-2 win. Will the Cowboys repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
