Even though the Seymour Wildcats scored an imposing 56 points on Wednesday, the St. Paul Catholic Falcons still came out on top. St. Paul Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wilby at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. One thing working in Wilby's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Seymour, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Harding focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Saturday.
