Rubidoux is 2-7 against Miller since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rubidoux Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Miller Rebels at 6:30 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Rubidoux and 19 for Miller.
Rubidoux fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Pacific on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 58-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Miller, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-50 loss to Jurupa Valley on Thursday. Miller has not had much luck with Jurupa Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Rubidoux bumped their record down to 3-21 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road. As for Miller, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.
Rubidoux barely slipped by Miller when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 63-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rubidoux since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
