Lake Norman came out on top against Hickory Ridge on Friday thanks in part to Tre McKinnon's efforts. McKinnon posted 16 points and eight boards. The performance also marked the most assists (two) he has had since back in December of 2024. The contest was his third in a row with at least 16 points.

Looking ahead, McKinnon and Lake Norman will be playing at home against Cuthbertson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
