Lakeview Charter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lake Balboa College Prep, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lakeview Charter Lions were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars on Friday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lakeview Charter never let Lake Balboa College Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Lake Balboa College Prep still got an impressive performance from Jarrell Quinones, who had 14 digs.

The victory got Lakeview Charter back to even at 2-2. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
