Dillon Christian can attribute much of their success to Thompson Stone, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists, and Sean Locklear, who scored 30 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Locklear has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reese Bracey, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Carolina Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Dillon Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Carolina Academy beat Dillon Christian 60-53 when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
