While losing is never fun, GRACE Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 386th, while Trinity Christian is ranked 146th).
Elijiah Oehlke had a dynamite game for Trinity Christian, rushing for 98 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Oehlke is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played. Karlfonza Smith was another key contributor, picking up 156 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
GRACE Christian's loss was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Trinity Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
