Brockway suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a tough 57-31 defeat at the hands of Coudersport. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brockway in their matchups with Coudersport: they've now lost four in a row.
Johnsonburg won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. Their rough 71-45 defeat to Redbank Valley might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Johnsonburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Redbank Valley is ranked 96th).
Brockway's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Johnsonburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.
Brockway lost to Johnsonburg on the road by a decisive 55-39 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Brockway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
