Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blanche Ely to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gary Hadley, who threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Hollis, who picked up 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Dillard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Blanche Ely, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
