The Kent County Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 51-39 victory over North East. This was payback for Kent County, who suffered a 48-39 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Zoe Angenieux, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kent County's points. Another player making a difference was Talicia Wright, who scored 18 points.
Kent County's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for North East, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Kent County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Pocomoke at 5:00 p.m. on February 9th. North East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
