The Dibble Demons will be playing at home against the Wayne Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dibble has six straight victories, Wayne has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Dibble can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Stratford as Dibble made off with a 40-20 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dibble to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jag Norman, who rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Norman is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Maddox, who picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Wayne came up short against Healdton last Friday and fell 28-20.
Dibble's win was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Healdton and 1-7 Wynnewood (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35.4% over those games). As for Wayne, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Dibble against Wayne in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 38-8 win. Will Dibble repeat their success, or does Wayne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
