The Kennedy Commanders lost against the Holy Family Tigers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Kennedy was dealt a 49-8 loss at the hands of Holy Family. Kennedy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.
It was another big night for Rylan Cooney, who threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Ashton Erickson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Kennedy's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.3 points per game. As for Holy Family, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Holy Family also has no future games currently scheduled.
