For the first time this season, the Hughson Huskies were forced to settle for a draw. They and Hilmar finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw.
Aiden Barrios was the only thing that stood between Hughson and a shutout considering he scored both of Hughson's goals. With that big game, he's now up to two goals this season.
Hughson's draw makes their record 12-10-1 on the season. Meanwhile, Hilmar's record is now 5-13-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hughson will face off against Delhi at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Delhi is on a four-game streak of home wins, Hughson a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Hilmar, they will head out on the road to challenge Esparto at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Esparto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 24 goals over their last four games.
