Central Valley entered their tilt with Pacheco on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Panthers an 11-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-2 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Gabriela Delatorre, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was KaDynce Piceno, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Central Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 8-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Central Valley's record now sits at 11-6. As for Pacheco, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Central Valley will head out to take on Beyer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pacheco, they will be playing at home against Johansen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.75 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
